Export goods travel a long way: handled in the warehouse, loaded into a container, moved through the port and the importer's warehouse before they reach a shop. Every lift is another knock. Household goods, furniture and ceramics are heavy, bulky or fragile, exactly the products where one packing detail done wrong can lead to a claim or a return on the whole shipment.
- Painted, wooden or glass surfaces scratched by rubbing inside the carton.
- Edges and corners dented during handling; ceramics chipped by shifting in the carton.
- Polybags missing suffocation warnings, or carton labels that do not follow the importer's specification.
- Foam, bags and labels bought from several places, and hard to get in full before container loading day.
- Foam added "to be safe", making the carton bigger and freight cost higher.
How HQPAK solves it
HQPAK's strength is creative technology: we handle a wide range of packing requirements and order sizes, to the specification of the importer in each market.
HQPAK designs a shock-proof export packaging set for each product, based on weight, fragility and how the cartons are packed:
- Scratch protection: PE foam rolls wrapped around surfaces, sheets for bases and dividers between layers.
- Impact protection: corner protectors for edges, shaped foam die-cut to your drawings or a real sample, and laminated foam for heavy goods. Foam is cut to size so your packing line can use it straight away.
- Export specification: polybags printed with suffocation warnings; carton labels and barcodes carrying the information your importer requires.
- Product packaging: paper boxes printed with your branding for small household goods, ceramics and accessories.
For household and furniture packaging, enough matters as much as strong. HQPAK favours corner protectors and shaped foam at the weak points over thick wrapping everywhere, which keeps cartons compact and saves volume-based freight cost.
When your importer sends packing instructions, HQPAK works with you to turn them into a specific materials list: foam type, where to place protectors, and the content printed on bags and carton labels, so nothing is misread at the start and discovered only after the container is loaded.
Our 5-step process for a packaging set
- Product survey: dimensions, weight, weak points (edges, corners, glass faces), carton layout and any packing instructions from your importer.
- Set proposal: foam type and thickness, protector positions, bag specification, carton label content, and one combined quotation within 24 hours of receiving full specifications.
- Samples and approval: shaped foam and corner protector samples to trial with your real product; warning text and carton labels approved before printing.
- Production: foam, bags, labels and boxes made to the agreed specification, with dimensions checked before delivery.
- One shipment: materials delivered together, matched to your container loading plan. Standard orders ship 3-7 working days after sample approval; export shipment timing is confirmed in the quotation, and PE foam lead time is confirmed when the order is placed.
Why consolidate packing materials with one supplier
- Fewer suppliers: foam, bags, labels and boxes from one contact, with one person following progress before packing day.
- Consistent information: boxes, bags and carton labels carry the same product information, item codes and specification across the shipment.
- One shipment: materials arrive complete, so you do not wait for the last item before loading the container.
- One invoice: packing cost for the whole shipment sits in one set of documents, which makes the cost per unit easier to calculate.
Serving customers across Vietnam and export orders
HQPAK's factory is in Pho Noi A Industrial Park (Hung Yen) and its office is in Gia Lam, Hanoi. Labels, hang tags and stickers are printed at the factory; HQPAK supplies and coordinates the other items in the same order. Frequently asked questions
What does an export packaging set include?
Typically PE foam rolls and sheets, corner protectors or shaped shock-absorbing foam; polybags printed with suffocation warnings; carton labels and barcodes; and paper boxes for the product. HQPAK recommends a set based on weight, fragility and your importer's packing requirements.
Which foam should we use to protect furniture and ceramics in transit?
Furniture usually combines PE foam rolls wrapped around surfaces with corner protectors for edges and corners. Ceramics and glassware are better held by foam bags or shaped foam that fits the product, so nothing shifts inside the carton. Send dimensions, weight and carton layout and HQPAK will advise a suitable thickness.
Can polybags carry suffocation warnings in several languages?
Yes. The warning text, language, type size and position follow the requirements of your importer or destination market. You send the content; HQPAK lays it out and sends a proof for approval before printing.
Can you cut shaped foam to our drawings or a real sample?
Yes. HQPAK works from technical drawings, design files or a real product sample to supply corner protectors, trays and inserts, then sends a sample so you can trial the packing with your product before the production run.
How do we avoid using foam that is too thick and raises freight cost?
Thicker foam makes cartons larger, and freight is often charged by volume. HQPAK works out the foam type and thickness from the weight and fragility of each product, and favours corner protectors and shaped foam at the weak points over thick wrapping everywhere.
How long does it take to prepare the packing materials?
We send a quotation within 24 hours of receiving full specifications. Standard orders ship 3-7 working days after sample approval; export shipment timing is confirmed in the quotation, and PE foam lead time is confirmed when the order is placed. We recommend ordering early against your container loading plan so all materials arrive in one shipment.
